What is it?
A comprehensive eye examination is the foundation of healthy vision. It looks beyond your prescription to assess the overall health of your eyes — the front surface, the lens, the retina, the optic nerve, and how your eyes work together. Most adults should have a complete exam every one to two years; sooner if you have diabetes, a family history of eye disease, or new symptoms.
Symptoms to watch for
- Blurred vision at near, far, or both
- Frequent headaches or eye strain
- Trouble driving at night
- Sudden changes in vision
- Difficulty switching focus between distances
How we treat it at Hussain Eye Care
Your visit at Hussain Eye Care includes a full refraction, slit-lamp examination, intraocular pressure check, and a dilated fundus exam when indicated. We discuss findings in plain language and provide a clear written prescription and follow-up plan.
Book a comprehensive exam at least every two years, or sooner if you notice any change in vision.
